Mirrored Padauk
SICO Queen

We made this system back in '92 as a lark.

The wood selected is Padauk from Africa.
It has a course grain that mills up orange
in color.....
BUT, you can see it darkens much more extreme than even Cherry.

The excessive weight of mirrors, solid wood and a true mattress and box spring required the SICO Room Maker lift mechanism. This is the worlds most expensive Wall Bed lift device, but it is also the most versatile.

This photograph was taken at a trade show. In a room setting, the mirrored systems have proven to be very difficult to photograph. Super deceptive!
